What a gorgeous day! It’s honestly the first blue sky sunny day we’ve had in awhile. The dads and sons who were just here for Father Son 2 wouldn’t believe how warm it was today after how cold it was on Friday and Saturday. We are ecstatic for the turn around! We had chocolate chip pancakes and bacon for breakfast, grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch, and homemade chicken tenders and fries for dinner, with red velvet cake for dessert. Kids had a blast in their first day of activities. They had six activities today and will have six different ones tomorrow. The only activity they have every day is Sports and Games, since we combine two activity groups each period to play something different each day. Today they played World Cup on the soccer field. The Leaders drafted last night, so teams were announced this morning before lunch. That means that tonight it’s time for all camp Braveheart! It’s everyone’s favorite camp game and involves trying to pull every other team’s flag to try to be the last team standing. It’s always a wild and crazy night! We’re off to a great start for A session!
