It was a gorgeous, blue sky Deerhorn day today! With temps in the high 80s, it was the warmest it’s been for the last week. We passed out Gatorades after lunch to keep these kids hydrated! Sports and Games played Klepton on the soccer field, which is one of campers’ favorite made-up Deerhorn games. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Lunch was chicken patties, and dinner was a full Thanksgiving dinner, complete with turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, rolls, and pumpkin pie for dessert! Delish! Kids worked on their final stars in this last full day of activities, since tomorrow’s schedule is a little different. We’re wrapping up D session, and it’s hard to believe we start packing tomorrow!
