Weird & Wild Weather

We woke up this morning and it was blue skies and sunshine. By 9am, it was so dark it felt like nighttime and all activities moved inside. It poured rain for 2 hours and by 11am, the sun came out, the skies cleared, and we’ve had a gorgeous day ever since. So wild! Many of you had the same storms today, but ours were short-lived and nothing more than heavy rain and darkness. While it was raining, activities were inside and let’s just say there was a lot of Euchre played. 😉 It has become the favorite camp indoor activity, and even the youngest kids are learning to play. After lunch, everyone walked through a giant line of no name lost and found on their way to their koogees to pack up. Thank you to all the parents who labeled their kids’ stuff with their names! This afternoon was Attack of the Stags, where kids get to take on counselors in lots of different events. Events included lawn soccer, koogee ball, gaga ball, Balco Ball, Sprout Ball, Ultimate frisbee, volleyball, Assault, and Power Ball. And if you don’t know what some of those even are, you definitely have lots of questions for your son when he comes home! After dinner, it will be time for one more final game of Braveheart!
