It was another warm one today at camp, but there was a big breeze off the lake all day that helped keep things cool.  Breakfast this morning was potatoes and bacon, lunch was meatball subs, and dinner was chicken tetrazzini and rolls, with banana pudding for dessert. Kids had their first six activity periods today, and they’ll have the other six tomorrow. The only activity period they have every day is Sports and Games, because we combine two activity groups so that kids can play team sports and fun games that counselors have made up over the years. Today Sports and Games played World Cup on the soccer field. Third period this morning ended early so that we could announce teams. That’s always HUGE excitement at camp! Since the teams were announced today, that means tonight it was time for some Braveheart! It’s everyone’s favorite camp game, where each person is trying to pull the flags of the other three teams before their own flag gets pulled and they’re out. Last team in wins. It was definitely an action-packed day at Deerhorn!
