We made it! The summer of 2025 is actually here! We kicked off our 1st Father Son camp this morning in the pouring rain, but luckily the rain quit by 10 and we had sunshine for most of the rest of the day. This is a great session of returning dads and also lots of new faces. Most of our new families are friends of families who have attended Father Son camp in the past. We are always so grateful for our Deerhorn families helping us spread the word about how awesome Deerhorn is!

We had activities running from 9-11:30 this morning, and again from 1:30-4:30 this afternoon. Riflery and archery were very busy, and lots of families went on horseback rides this afternoon.  Sprout ball was pretty much running all afternoon on the golf green. It’s one of Deerhorn’s most popular games. Baseball, basketball, tennis, Gaga Ball…dads and sons packed it all in! We’ll have a meeting after dinner to go over a few rules and introduce the staff, and then do some team sports for our evening activity. We’ll end this great day at Deerhorn with our first Deerhorn campfire of the summer of 2025. With both staff and dads ready with their guitars, we know it’s going to be a good one!
