They’ve been waiting all winter, and it’s finally their turn! Our A Session is full speed ahead! The 21 kids who stayed over from Father Son 2 had a great time at the waterpark yesterday and woke up ready to get their own session started. We had kids arriving by car throughout the day, and as they arrived they joined in activities based on age group…volleyball, sprout ball, archery…lots of fun stuff. After lunch, all of the kids who were already here took their swim tests and headed off to more activities. The buses arrived around 3:15 and then the party could really get started! We moved baggage, settled in, took swim tests, and then had a meeting in the lodge to introduce the staff. Kids did a few more activities between the meeting and dinner. After dinner, kids will participate in the Deerhorn Combine, doing various events with their koogee, while the Leaders scout in preparation for tonight’s draft. Kids are psyched to find out what team they’re on tomorrow. We’ll settle down for the night with milkline at 8:15. Almost half of the kids who are here for A session are first year campers, so there is lots of excitement and lots of questions! It’s going to be a great session!
