We could not have cooked up better weather for our final session of the summer of 2024! It was another day of blue skies and sunshine, perfect for every activity except sailing, since there was not much wind all day. But a few brave sailors tried it out anyway! We had sausage and biscuits and gravy for lunch, pulled pork and tater tots for lunch, and pot roast and mashed potatoes for dinner. There were lots of amazing Rave launches as dads and sons basked in the sun on the water trampoline. The ski dock was full this morning with families waiting in line to ski on the lake of glass. The crafts shop was busy, horseback rides were full, and lots of dads and sons played tennis all day. Lots of kayaks and canoes were out on the lake, shooting practice in archery and riflery, and putting and chipping practice on the golf green. This session may only be 3 1/2 days long, but you can pack a LOT into those few days. Just ask the dads who need a nap after lunch! 😉 Tonight after dinner is dads vs sons Capture the Flag followed by another Deerhorn campfire!
