It was the perfect Deerhorn Day for the last full day of the summer of 2025. It was gorgeous, sunny, and warm, with a perfect breeze off the lake. Even though the waterfront was the main attractions, dads and sons also worked hard creating some incredible crafts projects! Today was also our guided fishing day, so most of the dads and sons went out fishing with our guides for an hour at a time. Some had so much fun they went back out for an extra empty slot! There weren’t any musky caught, but lots of little fish for sure. And most importantly, they had a blast with our guides! We had doughnuts, bacon, and quiche for breakfast and deli sandwiches and chips for lunch. At 4:30, the dads took on the staff in our Father Son softball game. After dinner, we’ll play some all-camp Braveheart, followed by the last campfire of the summer. Tomorrow, we’ll have activities running until 11am, for those dads and sons who want to soak up just a couple more hours of fun! Many thanks to all the families who joined us for Father Son 4…we saved the best for last! 😉
