It was cloudy and overcast this morning when we woke up, but the rain luckily held off until around 2:00. Kids got to have regular activities this morning, and Sports and Games played football on the soccer field. Breakfast was doughnuts, muffins, and bacon, and lunch was delicious homemade pizza and caesar salad. Every activity has a rainy day location.  Crafts and riflery can continue, while most other activities relocate to the lodge, dining room, or Deerhorn Hall. Kids play board games, rafter ball, and games in the Hall like darts, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Even in the rain, there’s no shortage of fun! We managed to get brother pictures after lunch today, before the rain came. We love doing those. It’s not just brothers and cousins who show up for photos, but campers and staff also show up who are just good friends and want their photo taken together. It’s so fun to see who shows up.  And watching the interactions with younger brothers and older brothers around camp is pretty special too!
