It was another gorgeous day at the ‘Horn for our final full day of this 2024 Deerhorn summer. The waterfront was a hopping place to be, not only for some great Rave launches and trips down the slide, sandcastles and kayaking, but also for our guided fishing day! We had four guides going out all day with our dads and sons. Some of this just fished for pan fish and others were hunting for that elusive musky! Jack Baker, Finnegan Freeman, and Healy Freeman all landed one! Whether or not they caught anything, they definitely had a great time with our guides! Breakfast this morning was breakfast burritos and potatoes, lunch was turkey subs and chips, and dinner was Santa Fe Chicken and rice. Activities ran all day until 4:30 and then the dads took on the counselors in a softball game. Felipe Darragh even made a trophy for the game in arts and crafts! After dinner tonight, it’s dads vs kids vs staff in Braveheart, and we’ll cap it all off with our final campfire of the summer of 2024.
