Day three of the D session, and everyone is settling into the routine. Kids had their other six activities today, so they’ll get orientations for those activities today and then be off and running. Sports and Games is playing Quidditch on the soccer field today. There aren’t any flying brooms, but there is a “Golden Snitch,” a counselor who runs all over camp while kids try to catch him. Our staff over the years have made up some pretty fun Deerhorn games, and I’m sure you’ll hear all about them when he comes home. (Thought, let’s be honest, most of them revolve around some form of dodgeball…because…boys.) You’ll have to ask which one is his favorite! One answer I’m sure you’ll hear is Braveheart. Kids had so much fun playing that last night. It’s a beautiful sunny day here at camp and there’s definitely lots of fun being had!
