Thanks for a Great C Session!

And just like that, our third camper session has come to an end! Our sessions fly by so fast! We ended C session as we do all of the others, with our final awards breakfast. We passed out a lot of awards like patches earned for stars and Most Improved in each activity, as well as recognizing first-time wakeboarders, skiers, and slalomers. Our rifle awards for high scores went to Loch Walsh for juniors, Liam Silva for intermediates, and Daniel McCaffery for seniors. The tennis tournament champions were Will Cassin for 11 and under, and Grayson Smith for 12 and up.

Deerhorn Spirit Awards went to Pierce Moffat for juniors, Woodson Cody for intermediates, and Luke Wiese for seniors. Outstanding Camper trophies were given to Graham Baldwin for juniors, Rory Burke for intermediates, and George Cirulis for seniors. All speeches from today’s awards breakfast are posted on our Facebook page. The Eagles have held onto their lead for C session. Team totals can be found on our Team Competition page.

We have 59 kids who are staying for D session, but 10 of them are Voyagers and are off on their trip. (They checked in last night and are doing well!) The kids who stayed over headed off this afternoon to Sawmill Adventure Park for an afternoon of trampolining and putt putt. They’ll come back tonight and watch a movie in the lodge. Thanks to all of our C session parents who shared their son with us this session and to those who are sharing them for D session too! C session was great and we know that D session will be no different!

Thank you so much to all the counselors and staff for making my son James’ first camp experience so memorable and fun. We loved touring the beautiful grounds with him today and hearing all about camp. What a special and magical place. He is already asking when he can go back. A heartfelt thank you.

We are so glad James had a great first year and also glad you got to see camp for yourself! I’m sure he was a good tour guide!
