Welcome to E Session Deeley Day at Deerhorn! Deeley Days are a little different around camp. We get to sleep in an hour later and have breakfast at 9. (cinnamon rolls, bacon, and scrambled eggs) After breakfast, kids enjoyed some rare free time around camp. They could choose activities like ultimate frisbee, lawn soccer, and a movie in the basement of the Hall. It was raining a little this morning, but was done by 10am. CJ gave a Words of Wisdom talk in the lodge at noon about the Deerhorn Creed. Lunch was meatball subs. After rest hour, it was time for the big team event for E session, Conquest! It’s a huge relay combining aspects of all of our other summer team events. Kids had a blast running all over camp. The Bobcats took first, followed by Wolves in 2nd, Eagles in 3rd, and Bears in 4th. After dinner, kids will do some koogee time before ending our Deeley Day with a Deerhorn campfire. Day 7 of E session is in the books and it was a winner!
