B Session is here! It was cloudy and cool all day, but at least the rain was done by breakfast! We had 37 kids stay over from A Session and they divided up into groups by age and did activities throughout the day like archery, dodgeball, and basketball.  As kids arrived by car, they settled into their koogees and joined the activity groups. After sub sandwiches and chips for lunch, the kids who just arrived by car took their swim tests and then headed to other activities while we waited for the buses to arrive. They pulled in around 3:00 and then the party really got started! We moved all the baggage, settled into koogees, and took swim tests. Around 4:00 we had a meeting in the lodge to introduce the staff and go over a few rules, then kids did a few more activities before dinner, like ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and sprout ball. Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs with apple crisp for dessert. After dinner, it was time for the Deerhorn Combine! Kids went around with their koogee to do different events while the Leaders walked around scouting in preparation for tonight’s draft. Teams will be announced tomorrow.
