Our first two Father Son camps were incredible…but let’s be honest…the camper sessions are when the fun really starts! 😉 We had 34 kids stay over from Father Son 2, and they had a great time at the waterpark yesterday. They woke this morning excited to get the party started! They were divided into temporary activity groups by age, just for today, and did activities throughout the day like archery, sprout ball, tennis, and volleyball while we waited for the buses to arrive. They got here around 3:00 and then the action really began! We moved into koogees, took swim tests, had a meeting to introduce the staff, and did activities like sprout ball, koogee ball, and kickball. After dinner, we’ll do the Deerhorn Combine, with kids doing activities with their koogees while the Leaders walk around and scout. They will draft teams tonight and the kids will find out what teams they’re on tomorrow. Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes, and lunch was grilled cheese and tomato soup. Our weather was supposed to be rain most of the afternoon, but we are VERY grateful that it never did! All of our photos from this summer are on SmugMug, sorted by sessions!
