2026 A Session Teams

Day 2 of every session is always super exciting. The Leaders stay up late on the first day of camp, drafting kids to the four camp teams. Normally, we pass out shirts right before lunch, but the forecast didn’t look great, so we pivoted. After  cinnamon rolls, bacon, and potatoes for breakfast, kids returned to their koogees to clean up and get ready for the day. At 9am, we called everyone to the lodge to read out the activity group lists. Then, we kept kids in the lodge and the Leaders read out their teams! We passed out shirts on the beach, and got team pics before the rain came down! Luckily, the rain held off until lunch, allowing a morning of regular activities. Lunch was chili dogs and chips, and then we had a meeting to go over all of the camp rules. It’s been raining all afternoon, but we always have a rainy day plan! Some activities can continue, like riflery and crafts. Others have rainy day locations, like the lodge and Deerhorn Hall, to play board games, rafter ball, and other fun team games. The forecast looks way better after today, and we are very grateful for that!

For those of you new to camp, the Wolves are red, the Eagles are yellow, the Bears are green, and the Bobcats are blue!
