It was another HOT one at Camp Deerhorn, and the next few days promises the same. Sports and Games played Ultimate Frisbee on the soccer field, and basketball and horseback riding moved to the waterfront for the afternoon. Tennis got creative with some squirt guns and water balloons to try to beat the heat. There was a breeze off the lake, which helped, and we passed out Gatorades after lunch. Rest hour was busy with team meetings, planning for the Monkey Relays tomorrow!  Breakfast was biscuits & gravy, scrambled eggs, and sausage, and lunch was corn dogs. But the big event of the day was the return of our second group of Voyagers! They’ve been gone for 8 days, sea kayaking in Voyageurs National Park. They rolled in around 5:00pm, and were greeted by all of their fans! They are sweaty and gross, but smiling ear to ear from all of their adventures. We can’t wait to hear their stories and we’re so glad they’re home!
