D Session energy means lots of kids awake before 6am, ready to get the day started! They were up playing tennis, tetherball, basketball. There’s too much fun to be had to stay in bed until 7:15am! We had cinnamon rolls, bacon, and scrambled eggs for breakfast. After breakfast, kids cleaned up their koogee, then headed to the lodge to find out what group they were in. They got their schedule and were off and running! Sports and Games played World Cup Soccer. Third period ended early so that we could announce teams and pass out team shirts. Lunch was pulled pork, and after lunch kids who just arrived for D session had a brief meeting in the lodge to go over camp rules.  At the end of rest hour, we let the kids who stayed over from C session watch the World Cup Final in the basement of the Hall. Our two counselors from Spain, Raquel & Nicholas, were super excited at the outcome of the game! As per usual on the 2nd day of a session, we had a long line out the store at g-swim! Dinner was chicken tenders and pesto. After dinner was the most exciting announcement of all-camp Braveheart! It’s everyone’s favorite camp game, and with the teams newly drafted, energy was through the roof!
