And just like that, our final Father Son camp has come to an end, wrapping up an incredible 2023. Everyone always talks about how amazing Camp Deerhorn is. But the truth is, the main reason that Deerhorn IS so magical is because of the people who call it home.  Our staff this year was simply the best…kind, patient, fun-loving… and they made the campers’ summers the best possible. Our four Leaders who led the camp teams were phenomenal kids who we were lucky to spend the whole summer with. We loved getting to know the dads who came to all four Father Son camps. And the kids! We are always blessed with such hilarious, fun, kind kids each summer. I run out of superlatives when trying to describe all of the people with whom we get to spend the summer. Truly, the greatest gift of our job is all of the people we are lucky enough to call friends. Thank you for being part of the Deerhorn Family. Thank you for sharing your sons and dads with us this summer. Thank you for trusting us to take care of your kids this summer. It is a responsibility we do not take lightly. Our hearts are full of so much gratitude.

As the summer of 2023 comes to a close, it’s hard to believe we are already talking about the summer of 2024. But our dates are up on our website, and the application will go live on Wednesday, September 25th at 10amCT. Several of our sessions filled last fall in a matter of minutes.
