Today was our guided fishing day and we were grateful for sunshine and warmer temperatures than we’ve had so far. Dads and sons had such a great time hanging out with our professional guides. Some kids wanted to fish for smaller fish, while others wanted to try for that elusive musky! There was only one musky caught all day, by Cam Geis! Whether or not they caught anything, it was a beautiful day to be out on the lake.

 

Breakfast this morning was blueberry pancakes and sausage, and lunch was grilled cheese and tomato soup. It got windy this afternoon, so sailing got a little wild this afternoon and kayaks were a little tricky to navigate in the waves. After afternoon activities, dads took on the staff in a softball game. After dinner, we’ll play some dads vs sons vs staff Braveheart on the soccer field, followed by another Deerhorn campfire!
