It was a pretty awesome day at Deerhorn! They’re all pretty awesome, but when the Voyagers arrive home AND a puppy comes down for a visit, it doesn’t get much better than that! It was another gorgeous day with blue skies and sunshine until around 4:30 when clouds and thunder rolled through, but not much rain. It was a regular day of activities, and Sports and Games played “Hucka Freya” (ultimate frisbee) on the soccer field. Breakfast was cinnamon rolls and bacon, lunch was sloppy joes and potato wedges, and dinner was delish jerk chicken and cheesy potatoes. After morning activities, Georgia came down for a visit, prompting, of course, a huge crowd of kids in the grassy area around the beach. Georgia took it all in stride, rolling over to let herself get belly rubs, and exploring camp. Check out footage on our Instagram and Facebook pages! The Voyagers arrived home around 4:45 and there was a huge crowd of kids there to greet them. Footage on IG and FB of that too! They had an amazing 8 day adventure in Voyageurs National Park and were excited to come home for a good shower and hot dinner. Voyager homecoming and puppies to snuggle. #bestdayever
