Our first Father Son camp was a great success and now it’s time for another round! Dads arrived starting right at 9am today, ready to get the party started. Once again, we have a good mix of new friends and alumni, many of whom were campers themselves. It’s so awesome to watch them come back to camp 25 years later and find that it has hardly changed. And to get to share it with their son? Pure Magic. We had activities going all day, but sprout ball was definitely a crowd favorite. This afternoon’s game went the full three hours of activities. Dads and sons also went on the Rave, skied, got crafty in the craft shop, and kept archery and riflery busy all day. After dinner, we’ll have a meeting to go over a few rules and then play some team sports before our first Father Son 2 campfire. We have so many staff, dads, and sons who play an instrument during FS2, so these campfires are always a treat. Don’t forget, all of our photos can be found on our SmugMug site.
