The weather didn’t exactly cooperate for our final full day of the summer of 2022. It dawned grey and cloudy and raining. Luckily most of the rain stopped by breakfast, though it did continue to just kind of spit off and on for the rest of the day. But dads and sons didn’t let a little rain slow them down! We had activities running all day, and there were still plenty of trips down the slide and Rave launches, even on this rainy day! Today was also our guided fishing day, and dads had a great time out on the lake with our guides. There were quite a few smaller fish caught, but Miles Brunell landed the 35 1/2 inch musky! Way to go, Miles! There was also a fathers vs staff softball game that was super fun to watch. Lots of home runs out of the park by both dads and staff. The dads made a valiant effort, but in the end, the staff won 15-13. After dinner, we played dads vs staff vs kid Braveheart…always a camp favorite! We’ll end this fun day with our last campfire of 2022. Many thanks to all of the dads and sons who came out for Father Son 4. It’s been a fun session!
