For the most part, we’ve been lucky with the weather for this session. We’ve had occasional rain, but it has not lasted long and we’ve mostly enjoyed sunshine and warm temperatures. That all changed this afternoon! Kids had their last three periods of regular activities this morning. It was cloudy but still warm. After lunch, kids packed up during rest hour in preparation to go home tomorrow. When the bell rang at 2:00, it was pouring rain! Normally, on the last full day kids have three periods of team competition in the afternoon, ending with the third period being Braveheart, everyone’s favorite camp game. But it was really coming down all afternoon, so plans had to be adjusted to some indoor activities! After dinner, kids are super psyched for the counselor show. Our staff puts on a show with skits and jokes and musical performances in the lodge. There are always lots of smiles and laughter!
