Our last full day of our first Father Son camp was another great ones for the books! It was warm and sunny and the perfect weather for our guided fishing day. We had three professional fishing guides who spent the day taking our families out on the lake to fish for the elusive musky! We had one musky caught all day, a 32″ beauty caught by Grant Sanders! Great job, Grant! Even though no one else caught a musky, there were lots of little fish caught with our guides and off our docks. And most importantly, everybody had so much fun!
All of our other activities continued all day as well, and dads and sons had fun in the craft shop, shooting bows and arrows, and sailing out on the lake, among lots of other things! After dinner tonight, we played dads vs kids vs staff in Braveheart. It’s always a camp favorite, as everyone tries to pull the other teams’ flags before their own gets pulled. Last team in wins! We’ll finish off our fun day with another Deerhorn campfire. We are so glad to have shared the last three days with such fun-loving and kind fathers and sons!
