It was another gorgeous day at Camp Deerhorn! It was definitely another hot and humid one, so water activities were the favorite place to be today. Breakfast was blueberry pancakes and sausage and lunch was cheese quesadillas…definitely both crowd pleasers! Today was the last full day of activities for this session, as tomorrow’s schedule is a little different. Tonight after dinner is the Lillies vs Lubbers softball game, where the land counselors take on the water counselors. Kids love cheering on their favorite staff. Hopefully by now you’ve seen all of the amazing photos Cam took of the Monkey Relays yesterday. He did such an amazing job capturing the action and energy. He took almost 2,000 photos total, which is why it took him awhile to get them down to “just” about 400. Today’s photos include activities today but also photos he took last night at the campfire. They also do such a great job capturing the magic that is Deerhorn campfires. From favorite songs to s’mores afterward, campfire nights are some of our favorites!
