Today is opening day for our third Father Son session! It was cloudy all day, but warm and windy. Dads could arrive anytime after 9am and by lunch, more than half were already here, ready to get the fun started! Many of these kids were here for E session, so they are “Deerhorn experts” and were excited to share the Deerhorn fun with their dad. We had activities running from 9-11:30am and 1:30-4:30pm, like sailing, water-skiing, crafts, riflery, and archery. But there is plenty to do outside of regular activity times, like golf, frisbee golf, tennis, basketball, mountain biking, swimming…the list goes on! Dads and sons packed a lot of fun into just the first day! After dinner, we had a quick meeting to introduce the staff, and then had some team sports going, like kickball, soccer, and volleyball. We ended this amazing first day with a Deerhorn campfire. And, like always, we had tons of staff and dads to entertain us! All photos from this session can be found on our SmugMug site!
