Fishing Finale

It might not have rained today for our last full day of Father Son 1, but it definitely was a chilly one. Today was our guided fishing day, so dads and sons had a great time with our professional guides. Some just trolled for smaller fish, while others wanted to try for the elusive musky. Two were lucky enough to catch one! Congratulations to Hans Hansen on his 38″ musky, and Dylan Garrison for his 40 1/2″ musky! Those are some big fish!

Meanwhile, back at camp, activities were busy all day. The craft shop was hopping once again, and there were some long crazy games of sprout ball. Lots of bike rides, basketball games, and even a few brave souls down the waterslide! This afternoon the staff took on the dads in a game of softball, and after Taco Tuesday for dinner we played dads vs staff vs kids in Braveheart, ending another great day at Deerhorn with a Deerhorn campfire. It’s been such a great session of dads and kids and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us! We hope to see you all back next summer!
