We had 43 kids stay over from B session and today one HUNDRED kids arrived for C session! Camp is full and the energy is palpable. We ran activities all day in temporary activity groups based on age, like tennis, archery, and volleyball. As kids arrived by car, they settled into their koogees and then joined activities. After lunch, everyone who arrived by car took their swim tests and went back to activities until the buses pulled in around 3. There were three buses full of kids so excited to get this party started. We moved bags, met koogee-mates, took swim tests, and had a meeting to introduce the staff. After that, kids did activities like sprout ball and kickball with their koogees until it was time for dinner. After dinner, we’ll pass out loyalty awards, then do some koogee competitions, and finish up our first day with milkline, to get milk and a snack and settle down for the night. Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Lunch was grilled cheese, and dinner was spaghetti and meatballs.
