Our Voyagers were up bright and early this morning to head off on their kayaking adventure. They were greeted at the bus by a ton of friends, there to wish them bon voyage. It’s pretty awesome to see how many kids show up to see them off.

They are heading to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, a world class sea kayaking destination.  The Apostles captured our heart a long time ago, and many of us are jealous they get to spend the next 8 days up there.

Back at camp, it was breakfast casserole for breakfast and tacos for lunch. Sports and Games is keeping cool by doing the giant slip and slide on the soccer field. It’s a great way to beat the heat. It’s supposed to reach 90 here today, though I know that’s nothing compared to the temps some of you have at home. We just aren’t used to temps this high in northern Wisconsin!
