It was another warm and sunny day today. Kids were psyched to head out to the Rave today during swim class and waterfront activities were definitely the most popular. Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Lunch was quesadillas. Morning activities ended early so that we could announce teams and hand out shirts before lunch. That’s always one of the most exciting days of the session! Returning campers know that the team announcement means we will be playing Braveheart for the after dinner activity. Juniors play on the baseball field, and seniors play on the soccer field. Each team is trying to pull the flags of the other three teams before their own flag gets pulled. Last team with someone in wins! It is by far the most popular activity at camp! With activities in full swing, Sports and Games playing kickball, and a busy waterfront all day, it was another day of fun in the sun at Deerhorn!
