It’s a busy week at Camp Deerhorn, with lots of comings and goings. Our Lake Superior trip left this morning before breakfast. That group of 24 kids is headed north to Lake Superior, with some fun stops along the way. One of them is Wildwood Animal Park in Minocqua. Once they get to Bayfield, they take the ferry across to Madeline Island to spend the day swimming in Lake Superior and playing on the beach. Then they’ll take the ferry back to the mainland to camp out overnight, having pizza for dinner and doing a campfire later tonight. They will be back tomorrow by dinner.

Back at camp, kids are busy working on stars in activities and having a great time with friends. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheesy hash browns. Lunch was chicken bacon wraps. The sun is shining, and the Boyhood Adventure continues!
