Today dawned cloudy and cool, and we didn’t see the sun most of the day. However, it only rained for a short period of time this afternoon, so activities went on as usual. There were lots of us that gathered in the lodge throughout the day around the fireplace, enjoying the warmth and conversation. Breakfast this morning was egg and bacon sandwiches and hash browns, and lunch was brats, hot dogs, and mac and cheese. A few brave dads and sons did some trips down the waterslide, but for the most part the waterfront was quiet. Archery, crafts, and riflery were busy all day! After dinner, it was time for dads vs sons Capture the Flag, followed by another great Deerhorn campfire. We have SO many talented dads, sons, and staff who played at last night’s campfire. We were on Instagram live to start the campfire last night, so that video is posted on our Instagram page. So fun!
