After yesterday’s rain, we were glad to wake up to beautiful sunny skies and 67 degrees that warmed to a perfect mid-80’s. It was a gorgeous, blue sky day at camp. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, and french toast sticks.  Lunch was burgers, and dinner was delicious pot roast, mashed potatoes, and ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Kids were busy all day in activities, and Sports and Games played Balco Ball on DK Field. It’s just one of many crazy made-up Deerhorn games, and this one involves a duct taped wiffle ball, and bat, and is played in the outfield of DK Field. Since the rain kept us from playing Braveheart last night, kids were psyched to get to play it tonight after dinner. It was another great Deerhorn day.
