We are off and running again with a great new group of kids! Many of them are returning campers, so it’s fun to greet old faces and to meet new friends! The kids who stayed over from B session had an awesome time on the pirate ship, and were ready this afternoon when the buses arrived to help the new arrivals move into their koogees. Before the buses arrived, kids who were here were divided into groups by age and they did activities like sprout ball, basketball, and tennis. The buses arrived at 2:45 and the beautiful chaos began. After swim tests, we had a meeting in the lodge to introduce the staff, then kids played games of sprout ball, beach volleyball, and knock out on the basketball court. After a great dinner of spaghetti, campers played a game of all camp Capture the Flag! We enjoyed this day of beautiful sunshine and clear skies, a welcome change to a summer of lots of rain.
