Our 90th summer was an incredible one. Our staff was incredible, the four Leaders did an amazing job, and we were surrounded all summer with the best kids you could ever hope to meet. We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to be a part of the lives of so many wonderful families. Whether you worked at camp, joined us for a Father son camp, trusted your son to our care for a few weeks this summer, or just visited for a few days, we are grateful you are part of the Deerhorn Family. It truly does take a village to raise a child, and by sending him to Deerhorn, you are helping to grow that village every year with the bonds of friendships that are formed. We are glad to be part of your village!

The summer has ended, the docks are stacked on the beach, and camp is quiet again. But already we are planning for the summer of 2020. Don’t forget that the application goes live on Wednesday, September 25th at 10amCT. Several of our sessions filled that first day last fall, and two Father Son sessions filled in 5 minutes. Even if your son is too old to be a camper, we hope he can join us on staff as an AC next summer. And if you’ve been away from camp for a few years and think you’re too old to return, think again. We always need staff for the end of the summer, and we have lots of alumni that return for a short time to reconnect with the Deerhorn Family. There is always a place for you at Deerhorn. What an amazing summer it was. Thank you to all who shared it with us. Here’s to 90 more!
