Many of our staff members have been here all summer. They have done an incredible job, spending extra time with kids, finding new ways to make activities fun, and spreading sunshine wherever they go…like Jake. He’s been in the craft shop all summer, and he even opens it sometimes during General Swim or on Sunday mornings. Kids love going to crafts.

So the craft shop was already awesome, and then Spencer showed up just for the 10 day session. And it might just be the G.O.A.T. of craft shop staffs. (Greatest of All Time) They’ve renamed it Arts and Stache.   They are patient and funny and there is never a dull moment in the craft shop. We are grateful for guys like Jake who work at camp all summer. But we are also grateful for guys like Spencer, and Carl and Grant, and Connor,  who come for the ten day session, at the end of the summer, and bring with them a boost of energy and excitement. It makes the ten day session that much better for everyone.

Sports and Games played Klepton today. It’s one of campers’ favorites, combining dodgeball with Capture the Flag in an attempt to “unite the ions” and “dominate the galaxy.” The sun continues to shine, making for some great trips down the slide and out to the Rave these last few days of D session.

Breakfast this morning was chocolate chip pancakes and bacon, and lunch was chicken patties…for sure a popular day so far in food! Tonight after dinner is the counselor show, which is always much-anticipated and packed with laughs.
