Today was the most beautiful day at camp…sunshine and blue skies, sparkling water and amazing breezes to keep away the mosquitoes. Yes, it was definitely on the chilly side, starting out this morning at 48 degrees, but by this afternoon temperatures had warmed into the 70’s. And the cooler weather didn’t keep dads and sons from venturing out to the Rave. Today was our guided fishing day and, while everyone had tons of fun with our guides, the fish weren’t being cooperative. There were two muskies caught, a 27″ by Trent Isgrig, and a 31″ by Clarke Shih, along with a few northern pikes. The waterfront was a busy place today, with lots of beach volleyball and trips down the slide. Breakfast was french toast, lunch (always a camper favorite) was grilled cheese and dinner was roast beef. We ended with another amazing campfire down at the campfire ring, with the sun setting over the lake to end a very full day!
