What a weird day of weather! We woke this morning to thunderstorms that lasted until about 10am, raining out our first two guided fishing sessions. Luckily, the rain quit and held off until around 4, allowing us to get most people out to fish who wanted to. It definitely took some problem solving! In fact, after lunch for several hours the skies were blue and clear and sunny! It started raining again at 4 and didn’t quit for several hours. We had lots of fun rainy day plans, though, so the fun didn’t stop. No matter what the weather is, we always make the best of it.  Lots of board games, casino games, rafter ball, and hockey and gaga ball in the basement of the hall. Breakfast was french toast sticks, scrambled eggs, and bacon. Lunch was chili dogs, and dinner was chicken patties, mac & cheese, and waffle fries. Luckily the rain quit in plenty of time to have our final FS1 Deerhorn campfire, complete with s’mores at the end. It’s been a really fun first Father Son session to kick off the summer, full of so many awesome dads and sons. We hope to see you all again next summer!
