Just WOW! The beach was for sure the place to be today at Deerhorn. With temperatures in the high 80s and a great wind off the lake, the waterfront was a busy place all day. We could not have asked for better weather…though we could have asked for more sunscreen on the counselors. 😉

 

On a day like today, you just want to be in the water, so there were machine gun runs, and many trips down the slide!

 

Breakfast this morning was eggs and toast, and lunch was everyone’s favorite camp lunch, grilled cheese and tomato soup. Chicken fajitas for dinner topped off a great day of Deerhorn meals.

Lots of dads and sons took out sailboats and canoes, and the Rave was always full to capacity. It made for some pretty incredible Rave launches! The smiles, the joy, the excitement written across their faces… if it’s true that a picture is worth a thousand words, then I don’t really need to blog today at all.
