There’s no other word for it. A Session was amazing! This session is the best way to kick off our summer, full of kids who are bursting with energy and excitement for camp. The ten days flew by and we said goodbye to most of our A session campers this morning. We capped off the session with our awards breakfast this morning, where we passed out patches earned for stars and Most Improved patches in each activity. The tennis tournament champion for 11 and under was Drayton Blount, and the champion for 12 and over was Dominic Doucas. Spirit awards went to Will Newman for juniors, Alex Stanca for intermediates, and Chase Mulvaney for seniors. Most Outstanding Camper trophies were awarded to Hunter Heekin for juniors, Fisher Nichols for intermediates, and Zach Osborn for seniors. Videos of those speeches will be posted soon on our Facebook page. The Bears came out on top for the A session, but the point totals are close and anything can happen this summer! So most of our A session kids went home this morning, and there were hugs goodbye among friends, and hugs hello from parents ecstatic to see their sons after 10 days! We have 27 kids who are staying over for A session, and after lunch they headed off to Sawmill Adventure Park for an afternoon of trampolines and putt putt! Thanks to everyone who shared their sons with us for our Amazing A Session!
